OKKKU PROTOCOL


The OKINAWA KENPO KARATE KOBUDO UNION (OKKKU) ® is a umbrella type martial arts organization dedicated to the preservation of the traditional art of Okinawa Kenpo Karate Kobudo. The OKKKU is comprised of four independent Okinawa Kenpo Groups in the States, working together for the betterment and preservation of Okinawa Kenpo.

Of Friendship and Cooperation



We, The Undersigned Organization Representatives, Agree To Work Together For Our Mutual Benefit In An Atmosphere Of Common Respect, Professionalism And Fraternity For The Betterment Of The Okinawa Kenpo Karate Kobudo System.

In The Spirit Of The Above, We Further Agree To The Following:

1. The Establishment of an Alliance or Union, hereinafter called the "Okinawa Kenpo Karate Kobudo Union", not for political or monetary purposes, but for the Propagation of the Traditional Art of Okinawa Kenpo Karate Kobudo within this Framework.

2. An Agreement to Respect the Sovereignty of the Member Organizations herein named, and the Legitimacy of their respective Ryu or Kan.

3. An Agreement to Work Together to further Standardization of the Okinawa Kenpo Karate Kobudo system between the Founding Member Organizations, Minimum Ranking Requirements, and Criteria for the Issuance of Teachers Licenses between the Member Organizations.

4. An Agreement in Principle to support one another where possible, without duress.

7 An Agreement that OKKKU Membership is limited to the herein named Founding Organizations, unless approved by unanimous vote of the Founding Organizations.

8. An Agreement to Meet on a Periodic Basis to further the aims of the OKKKU.
