2006 IKKF 22nd ANNUAL TRAINING


The INTERNATIONAL KARATE KOBUDO FEDERATION is pleased to announce its 22nd Annual IKKF ANNUAL TRAINING, JULY 7-9, 2006.

This years 2006 IKKF ANNUAL TRAINING is to be held at THE IKKF HONBU IN READING, PA. (Location change resulted due to a major convention in Reading on previous scheduled date).

The focus of the 2006 IKKF ANNUAL TRAINING is to provide intense training in Karate, Kobudo, and Toide. Training sessions will be divided into Okinawa Kenpo Karate and Kobudo, Shotokan Karate Movement Drills, and Goju-ryu Strength Drills.

Due to the limited space available at the Honbu, this years training will be limited to 4th Kyus and above. So get your registrations in early to reserve you place. With the focus on brown and black belts, we expect to be able to have excellent indepth sessions focusing on more advanced material.

- Renshi Jose Cruz, Shotokan Karate Drills

- Renshi Carla Pronio-Molinaro, Goju-ryu Karate Training Drills

- Plus IKKF Renshi-Kai Instructors

 

SPECIAL GUESTS:

As with last year, the Directors of the OKINAWA KENPO KARATE KOBUDO UNION (OKKKU) have been invited to attend and participate as Special Guests at the 2006 IKKF ANNUAL TRAINING. These invited Special Guests include:

- Hanshi Larry Isaac, 9th Dan, Okinawa Kenpo Karate and Kobudo

- Kyoshi Victor Coffin, 8th Dan, Okinawa Kenpo Karate and Kobudo

- Kyoshi Al Louis, 8th Dan, Okinawa Kenpo Karate and Kobudo

- Kyoshi Joseph Bunch, 8th Dan, Okinawa Kenpo Karate and Kobudo

TOPICS:

The 2006 IKKF ANNUAL TRAINING will run over 3 days covering BEGINNER, ADVANCED AND INSTRUCTOR training for KARATE, KOBUDO, APPLICATIONS THEORY, DRILLS, AND HISTORY LECTURES.

Bring your own weapons and sparring equipment as necessary. Some weapons will be available for sale at the event. NO VIDEO TAPING is permitted of the seminar by seminar participants. IKKF Video Training Tapes will be available for purchase at the event.

BANQUET:

The normal IKKF ANNUAL TRAININIG BANQUET will be replaced this year with an INFORMAL SOCIAL GATHERING. The SOCIAL GATHERING will be held at the Reading Coast Guard Facility with pizza and snacks provided byt the IKKF. It is a great time to share with your fellow practitioners and their families. YUDANSHA TESTING:

As usual for the IKKF Annual Trainings a FORMAL YUDANSHA TESTING will be conducted. This testing will be held on Friday Evening.

IKKF Testing - A Yudansha Testing will be held for those members being considered for Yudansha Certification in Okinawa Kenpo Karate Kobudo as well as Okinawa Kenpo Kobudo. Any IKKF Dojo Heads who have members of their dojos they wish to recommend for promotional consideration should forward a copy of the individals martial arts resume along with their promotional request (note - promotion fees should accompany recommendation for testing).
